    All butterfly photos were taken my the front yard's butterfly garden.

    Florida is a fabulous state for butterflies! In my butterfly garden you will daily see Cloudless Sulphur, Zebra Longwing (the official Florida State Butterfly), White Peacock, Gulf Fritillary, Monarch, Queen, Eastern Black Swallowtail, Eastern Tiger Swallowtail, and Giant Swallowtail butterflies... and some spring/summer/fall days you may see all of them!

More Weekend (Patriotic) Cat Blogging!

My Wonderful Husband Who Is Not Here gave the boys some plastic wrist bands that are patriotic and 9/11ish in that they say:

"We Will Never Forget"

And, of course, they were super-special Government Studmuffin Employee bands, of course. 

So what do the children do with them?

They share them with the kitties. 

So that the kitties can be patriotic, also.

Lest you think that this kitty was tormented in any way during the making of these photos, I will tell you that this kitty could TAKE YOUR ARM OFF if she was even 1% displeased with the band being on her head. 

This kitty is a killing machine and she doesn't hesitate to give us the smackdown if she wants to.  So she LET US do this and was actually purring, also.
